Treon, a leading IoT company, launches Treon Industrial Node X, an advanced wireless battery-powered sensor to power predictive maintenance. As the new generation of Treon’s condition monitoring sensors, this addition to its portfolio improves efficiency, sustainability, and diagnostics capability for industrial operations.
Designed to work seamlessly with Treon Connect platform, Treon Industrial Node X provides high-resolution wide spectrum data to feed AI/ML-based analytics, enabling early detection and identification of equipment failures, helping maintenance teams to plan equipment maintenance well before costly breakdowns occur. Treon Industrial Node X is ideal for monitoring medium- to high-criticality equipment, assets requiring longer lead times for maintenance planning, such as large motors, gearboxes, and compressors.
Key features and enhancements
- Replaceable battery module for sustainability – Treon Industrial Node X has a replaceable battery module, reducing waste and improving long-term efficiency as well as remaining battery capacity monitoring to plan efficiently the battery replacement cycle.
- Broader equipment coverage – Expanding vibration monitoring capabilities to include slow-rotating equipment, variable-speed motors and intermittently operating assets as well as monitoring magnetic field for electric motors.
- Always-on monitoring – The device automatically wakes up to take measurements upon detecting real-time incidents, ensuring 24/7 monitoring of critical equipment.
- Extended connectivity – With up to double the connectivity range, Treon Industrial Node X enables more flexible deployment across industrial sites
- ATEX-certified power module – The upcoming ATEX version will support Zone 0 and Class I, Division 1 hazardous environments, extending monitoring to the most demanding industrial conditions.
